How common are cheaters on siege?

Sometimes when I play siege I get moments to think someone is cheating but I tend to not confirm it.
Got this question when I found this channel in my recommendation and how much subs and views it get

Teleportation hacks? Damn.
As well as how long does it take for battle eye to detect them?

Unless a cheater is super blatant is very hard to detect due to the nature of the game (droning, wall bangs, lucky shots) But in my hours (i mostly play ranked) I've exprienced 2 cheaters that were obvious. I do think that battleye and fairfight are doing a decent job, but at the end, no anti cheat is perfect.

EDIT#1: Also, the teleporting cheat is a new cheat to the game that was added like a week ago or so, a guy named battleyetm uses cheats and he streams it, he stated that only he had the cheat - (Like stated in the video, i didn't see you posted his vid)

Siege used to have a huge cheater problem back before battleye. After that it got much better. Its hard to say how many cheaters are in the game especially hard to tell you if you will see a lot. However anyone telling you there or there isn't a lot of cheaters in the game you should take with a grain of salt, as Siege has differnt data centers and your experience can vary alot between the differnt servers.

I just found one and he was kicked on the last round. Btw he was on the enemy team. And I was already suspecting he was wallhacking because he was prefiring but we won the game. He was a bad cheater.

Over 1600 hours and only one 100% confirmed cheater, the rest are either some fishy stuff or just luck playing its part, but they aren't nothing else then suspicions.

About the teleport, sometimes when someone from attacker side is lagging even his drone kind of teleports/warps, not saying that it is hack but maybe just lag issues, that happens in any mp based game anyway

Indeed. But check out the video I linked. I know when person lag, aka desync.

Yeah I saw it, it's definitly some glitches and/or hacks

I have seen more than a few people blatently looking and tracking through walls as people move. And I am not talking cams where you get an idea but literally tracking.

If it's suspicious I report it. If you have the feeling something is off usually it is. Just don't report everyone that kills you.

There are a lot of people that call hacks for no reason like last night I was playing bomb on Oregon and enemy team got tower for the bomb location and I was aiming at garage to cover my teammates who were outside tower guy called me a hacker because I was aiming at garage and killed him. Had he known I’ve been looking at that door for more than 20 sec he would’ve known I wasn’t hacking but ehhh it was funny seeing a plat get pissed and call hacks.

Obviously people still come here afterward and read stuff. Nothing wrong with adding to the mix even if it is later. Or you can just be a dumb child who focuses on trying to point out stupid things.

it doesn't matter if you played 200000 hours, the cheaters are mostly at Ranked and over plat. mostly. if you play casual, then it is hardly likely you meet one.

Or the fact that online multiplayer games like siege change over time and old threads generally are dealing with things that are entirely differnt from when they were started. For instance necroing an old thread about cheaters from before battleye implentation. Or necro a thread complaining about Frosts Nitro charges.
