Matchmaking in this game is TRASH

every time i play casual my team is filled with silver or copper players while on the other team there is always full team of plat or diamond with 3.0 kd ♥♥♥♥ this unballanced matchmaking ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥

Go play ranked games if you care about your rank.

Getting a few bad games in a row doesn’t suddenly mean that all you get are bad teammates against good players.

Normally I hate telling people to "just play ranked" when they have an issue with Casual mode, but seriously... Casual's matchmaking is so lenient because the whole point is to match people quickly, and team balance takes a backseat to that. If it's possible for them to tune the matchmaker to make this less frustrating while keeping good queue times, that would be great. But until then... just play ranked.

Sorry to hear you feel this way! I always reiterate to players that Casual and Ranked have separate MMR systems. Your ranked MMR does not factor into casual matchmaking. So it is possible your casual MMR is near or at the same casual MMR as the other players, who may have higher or lower ranked MMR than you.

that only mean in your region rarely having people with low level or similar rank to yours left. no new player or they just quit right away after they find out this game is not for newbie who looking for solo-q game. it nothing to surprise there, such as in Asia it barely have people play it this day because not many people have their own team. and yeah casual or even unranked is disaster for solo q and newbies who have no place in the game.

Not gonna lie, the matchmaking is pretty terrible. Just yesterday I've been through a couple matches where I was the only Plat on my team while the rest of my team were lower silvers and golds and the other team was full on Plat I's, Diamonds and even a damn Champion. Kinda need a rework I think, I usually don't complain about the matchmaking at all but it's becoming a problem literally. It's not every time though but it's pretty often, I also think that most of them are coming out of Ranked since it's almost over and they'd want to save their current MMR until next season.

Edit: Best solution right now is to play with friends that are exactly the same rank (MMR) as you or higher, unless you want to derank yourself which is also a possibility to play with lower ranks.

Yeah true, but it's really annoying when you're the lone Plat on your team and the rest are silvers and golds. Not saying anything bad about it but it's pretty ♥♥♥♥♥♥ when you're against plat, diamonds and champions. I've accepted it, so my solution is to play with my higher ranking friends so that way it balances it out.

Lenient? I have to wait 5 minutes for a bunch of ♥♥♥♥ plat 3s running it like its a damned tournament.

Do you queue for only hostage and live somewhere in Africa?

I have 1 or 2 game modes on (not bomb) and my queue time is 10 seconds - 1 minute in North America

EUS Bomb only. It always tries to put me into a lobby with high plat+ players. Saw a gold for the first time in a long time today in MM.
