New MMR difference lock

I always play with a 5 man, we play this game for fun and never try hard so we always play when we are full lobby, today we finished our placements, we all ranked gold and one of us ranked bronze 2, now we can't play together because there is a lot of difference between our MMR. Even csgo lets players from every different rank play together as long as they are in a full lobby. This is honestly sad.

We know what you're doing pal, by pairing up with a bronze you get matched against bronze enemies which makes it ezpz wins for you and your 5 stack.

It takes your group MMR and divides it to come to an average for the other team. If you are a diamond and copper you play with high golds not coppers moron. This new system is stupid as it blocks friends from playing ranked together.

didn't even think about that, im the highest rated player on our team and im 100 mmr away from the second, we are both gold 2 the other 2 are gold 3 and my cousin got placed in bronze 2, im pretty sure we would be matched against high silvers low golds, but because there is 1000 mmr difference between the highest and the lowest now we can't play together

How am I exploiting the game? I can't play with who I choose? why do you suppose I play with my cousin to have an advantage on others? Also he was gold just like the rest of us last season

read every answer I gave, we were all around the same rank last season, im not boosting anyone, and AGAIN, we will just wait for him to be able to play with us again since he won't have a hard time ranking up, just because we play together doesn't mean we are taking advantage of each other, people have friends they like to play games with you know

They just need to change it so squads are paired up against people based on who has the highest mmr in the squad.

So if the squad has 1 diamond and the rest silvers. Then they get put in a Diamond game.

No it just needs to be if the diamond loses against the high golds he plays against his mmr needs to tank. In CS if a GE squaded with 5 silvers and lost it would actually hurt his rank. Also people need to take advantage of playing good players instead of crying about it. My buddy got to plat level in 2 weeks since he only queued with me so he actually got good fast.

A diamond player shouldn’t of ever gotten to diamond if he was able to lose to golds.

Well this system doesn't count your skill, it only counts your rank if you know what I mean. Rank is the rough measurement for skill.

Just play unranked and you're good. The "it feels different" argument is nonsense because the mode is EXACTLY the same as ranked. You only get a little number afterwards, that's it.

thats not how it works, i have been diamond and im currently gold 2... altough it was like season 3 or 4, i was still there

Well I don't like to see in gold elo a platinum going 1/5 so thanks for the MMR lock. Now people who gets high elo because of their friend will need to actually play the game.

Instead of the nonsensical mmr lock ubi came up with ranked should just match you with whoever is highest rank in your squad, so if you queue with a plat, you're playing at plat now

Well if he's a true gold rank player, he should climb up easily by himself. Otherwise he got carried by your squad, also anyone good enough can SoloQ to high plat.

Btw can you post your whole Squad uplay names & screenshots as proof (since you already offered to do it so)? For years boosters services & bastards have ruined ranked for most people. Thanks to the MMR lock, the SoloQ experience should be better in the long run.

You got 3 options:
1. Tell your friend to git gud and become silver at least.
2. Derank yourself to his level
3. Get a smurf acc.
