Is the Revolver (LFP586) pistol even remotely useful on Montagne?

its good for ads, since they nerfed the speed along time ago, making hs not viable

Montagne is my main attacker since I got the game and I think the revolver is better than the P9, he is so accurate and powerful at short range (0-10/15 m). But you just need to aim well, and don't hipfire at long range, you're just gonna waste ammo.
And please play Montagne with your team, an alone Montagne is an easy target. Don't play it like Blitz.

rofl blitz is trash, his shield bugs out often, montagne after buff is a very viable info op

Blitz can be good but you need to go in very short range and

- kill

I clutched a 1v5 with Montagne a day, but you have to kill them one by one. If they all rush you you're dead

Both pistols are horrible compared to other pistols in the game. Revolver needs alot less recoil or better reload speed. P9 is just a pea-shooter.

Edit: but of the two revolver is best for one on one engagements and P9 for mulitple foes.

I prefer the P9, even in 1vs1. I can shoot some random bullet to stress my enemy when I approach :)
And I can survive a reloading, because it doesn't take a year.

P9 : 4 bullets = kill (but 17 in a mag)
Revolver : 2 bullets = kill (but 6 in a mag)
Your skill is gonna make the difference

I've done 1v4 with that pistol on Montagne... just don't spray, shoot every 2 seconds aiming at the enemy and you can get em' if they charge at you then you can spray but only then

So early on you use the pistol and then when you get good at the game you switch to revolver? Good to know, thanks a bunch for all the answes!

Also, any general tips on Montagne? I'm taking a great liking to him.

Currently if he's full shielded C4 won't kill him.

Try not to move when your teammates are firing behind you.

Blocking doorways is your job when protecting a bomb site or the hostage is being extracted; the enemy won't be able to enter.

Never act alone; monty is the most dependant op in the entire game.

Yeah, I've noticed those. Also, C4 does kill from behind though right?

Full extended shield tank 75% of the damage is front of the shield
A nitro cell in front of you gonna do 20-25 damage.
A nitro behind, on your left or on your right, is gonna do more damage and kill you
