Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six Siege

Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six Siege

Pink/purple lighting PostFx Bug
Does anyone also get this?
Some surfaces become pink/purple and shiney.
My specs are i7 3770, GTX1080, 18Gb RAM.
My drivers are updated and i verified the client files on Steam.
I run the game on Ultra textures, everything turned to the max.
My post-processing settings are HBAO+, TAA and TXAA 4x.
Any ideas?

Sounds like an unstable memory clock. Have you overclocked?

No. Every other game runs perfectly fine, it's literally only Siege.

Have you tried changing some of the settings? Specifically the ambient occlusion may cause problems like this.

Yea i changed it from TXAA 4x to Temporal Filtering.
The only thing that changed was the amount of bloom, but the purple and pink glitch remained.
Then i turned postprocessing off and it made weird artefacting. Like it does when your drone gets jammed.

It really sounds like a clock speed issue. Though with a card as strong as yours, there's no reason for instability. I've been having game breaking issues when the game is set to fullscreen recently. Try windowed borderless.

Well it really is ONLY Rainbow. NO other game gives me problems.
At first i got this glitch with the previous patch. It's not my video, but i had the same bug as this guy:

Now i get this ♥♥♥♥...

I did a clean install of my drivers. I verified the game files.
NOTHING helps.
I ran 3Dmark to benchmark, absolutely no issues, no other game has glitches or problems.
My 1080 isn't overheating, it's not dusty, all connections are solid, i checked in device manager, the hardware is fine.

I really can only blame the game.

The game is quite fidgety. Any error reports in your eventlistener?

Next step would be to reinstal the game.

Dw, post process makes half of my screen blurry, on R9 390, old drivers though, maybe thats my issue.

I don't think i have to. That bug that happened in the video i posted was a thing in the previous patch. After they patched it, that doesn't happen anymore, but now i get the stuff in the screenshots. The mid-season patch is out tomorrow. I wonder what will happen then.

Well, day of the mid season patch, the game is COMPLETELY broken now.
Once the level loads, it's just a black screen and then crash to desktop.
GG Ubisoft.

alt-enter befor it can crash, and switch it to windowed borderless. That's the only way it'll run for me any more.
MilitantOldMatt Dec 15, 2016 @ 10:17am
I alt-tabbed out of a running match and the glitch was gone, but it's bound to return.
I'll try to uninstall and reinstall the game, if that doesn't help, well that's that for me i guess.
♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ Ubisoft, they can't make a single game work.

Yeah, Ubisoft drops the ball quite often. Farcry 4 wouldn't run for me the first 3 months, and now when I play it, it starts 3 times the size of my screen, and I have to change resolution just to change the display settings.
