Thermal scope operator?
What do you think of an operator with a thermal scope? It would really only be useful in dark places like basements and during nighttime.
It would be like glaz, normal mode but then you use your activate key, and the sight is thermal now.

thermal can see through walls. It would make that operator pretty powerful.

For balance, it wouldn't be able to do that of course.

It worked fine in the old games...but with kids nowadays crying about "balance" and such it'll never happen.

That's sound like a good idea but only can see through smoke, flash. For example but not wall

I'd rather like to see it work through breachable surfaces, but not solids, like reinforcements, or "actual" structure walls.

No way would they put in a thermal scope that can see through any type of wall. That would be like pulse but a million times better because you could shoot instantly. If they do something like this it would only really be useful through smoke and such, which sort of defeats the purpose. Would be interesting to see what they would do with it though.

if its an attacker or defender u can ask your team mates to throw smoke/gas and you can shoot people through it

Pulse covers the "wallhack" operator nicely. We don't need another one.

Thermal scopes? Please, that's so unrealistic, it's like Unreal Tournament or CoD,
they have a more realistic operator, Pulse... He can see your heartbeat and the shape of your heart, but nothing else, only the specific shape of the heart, thermal scopes dont' exsist IRL, that's only in the movies, but hearbeat sensores that see the heart, that's even old school...
It's like those Xray apps for smartphones, really... realistic...

Actually heart beat detectors do exist. They use them to search for survivors in disasters and collapsed buildings.

Yes, but not like those that you can litteraly put a paper over the hearbeat screen and trace it with a pen and make a perfect drawing of a heart :P
Thermal scopes are also a thing, and that would be a better thing to put in the game, maybe not the whole shape/silluette of a human, but just a blurry thermal splat (because BALANCE lol)

Honestly it could be like IQ. A Thermal optic gadget on the wrist so the operator can only use a low caliber pistol while using it. It would mean less damage through walls. Plus you could balance it to make the edges of the body behind the wall blurry and not sharp so you cant target individual body parts too easily.
