I would recommand u to buy the full version (40 e). The diffrence is in how much the operators costs. I had the same problem like u before and I don't regret that i bought 40e version. U make like 250-300 renowns per win and like 150-190 renwons per defeat.
FULL version operators costs 500, 1000, 1500, 2000 and 25000 the ones from the DLCs
The cheapest version operators cost 12500 and 25000. With other words, u have to grind A LOT to gain some operators, but in the full version u just play few games and already can buy some operators.

buy the cheap version... yes ops cost more but 1. Ubisoft gets less money 2. Its not that bad to work a little in a game for ops 3. Its not that big of a difference between year 2 in cheap and in expensive version 4. friggin du et

The standard edition (more expensive) makes 1st year (non DLC) operators cost 2,000 renown max. You can still buy DLC operators, but they will cost 25,000 renown each.

With the starter edition (cheaper), all 1st year (non DLC) operators cost 12,500 renown each, and DLC operators will still cost 25,000.

If you don't mind grinding a lot, starter is probably okay, but standard edition is recommended so that you can quickly get all base operators available.

Regualr version you are looking at about 20-30ish hours to unlock all the standard operators and fully kit them out.

Cheap version you are looking at 60+ for just the regular operators.

DLC operators will take the same amount of time for either version.

You are severly underestmating the amount of grind.

Buy standard edition uplay key, you can find it at various digital shops for less than 15eur/usd. The best offer ubisoft had few weeks ago: siege standard edition+previous rainbow six games bundle for less than 8 euros.

I don't see many Korean MMO's under your belt (but you might not play them on steam) however based on that I can say you do not play the most grindy games ever. Just fair warning, the Standard version is highly reccomended.

Guys you are way overexaggerating the grinding it takes just for a measly 12,500 Renown. It's not preferable, but it really doesn't take that long.
