No VR no buy. I don't care if it is subnautica levels of basic, just something where I don't have to relaunch the game just to get out of the ship, I can live without motion controls

This game is so damn boring. Why do I have to wait all the time to get to do something interesting? It's filled to the brim not with excitement, but with tedium. Freelancer is from 2003 yet is still way more fun and has much less waiting around. Sad.

I was thinking the same thing, giant leaps? baby steps and the baby got left far behind all the others. Not to mention the devs obsession to stop players from making money in their game like it's a bloody F2P game. That is what has always bugged me.

As someone who owns VR, it's way overrated. Get off your high horses and just enjoy the game for what it is, we all know you're going to buy the DLC anyway.
Hell it's already confirmed to be implemented in a later update shortly after release
You also may even find that just using your monitor will be less clunky too
