Why frontier.... just why?!
The game is still too dark and I got not the colors I paid a lot of money for
Still not geolocital and biological sites on plantes like in horizions
SRV got often stuck in game and need both game to reset it from stucked places
If you going directly to the outfitting hangar there is only a blur screen while docking
Switching ships if just a dark screen and also no animation
If pirtates get your ship out of hyperspace you dont see to blue and reds circle to navigate this minigame
Both game also have differ key sets, why cant we have the Odyssey Keys inside Horizions. Those more easy to tsetup if you always delete users keybinds.
Horizon did not overheat the pc so much like Odyssey.
Please remove this hold on trigger button for navigation, This might work for consoles but I paid for the PC game and Console Game is a complete differ kind of way.
This one is a known bug, introduced in the update 7.01. I expect them to fix it sometime soon.
It could be because Odyssey added a lot of new keys for the on foot gameplay. And there might be conflicts with the older configuration.
Odyssey still is not optimized. Even high end PCs often struggle with it. More optimisations will be brought in later updates. The update 8 is expected to bring quite some of them.
I can't agree more with it! Holding a button just to confirm that yes, I really mean to press it, and I didn't just accidentally click it, kind of insults me. It feels like they are trying to protect me from myself being too stupid or too impatient of clicking random buttons without a reason.
FPS, as inappropriate it is for a spaceship flying game, brings much more of the gameplay than ship interiors ever will. And it keeps people busy with doing things, unlike the ships interiors showroom gallery.
Don't underestimate ship interiors, Star Citizen thrives from it and they are incredible but without the FPS they would be null. It's a perfect combination for these types of games and Frontier missed on this one.
I prefer this game not to have ship interiors, but not being stuck in a perpetual tech demo state. And if somebody can't live without ship interiors - they can always go to "thrive" in SC. I prefer to fly my ship in the Galaxy, not to walk inside it because there is no Galaxy outside.
I didn't want the FPS, either. I still don't. In my opinion, using those resources to develop atmospheric landing, and planets with real atmosphere/life would have been much more useful for the game.
But I can see the gameplay that the FPS gives to players. And the gameplay is what makes players to play the game for long time, because it's what keeps players to be engaged in the game.
Showrooms don't have the same replayability, and wouldn't keep interest for as long.

That's what makes the exploration to be interesting - the search for unknown. And there is enough of unknown in the Elite's Galaxy.
It's much more interesting than "exploring" the same ship interiors, that are really the same, and wouldn't change the next time when you walk through it.
Yes I've spend many hours in the black and found those along with doing the Guardian stuff, the problem is the "sameness" of the planet tech..no weather, now water, no forests, flowers etc. the backdrop is beautiful but feels very lifeless. Black holes are a huge disappointment, just refracted space, no danger...nothing. I still like Elite simply for the VR experience but I'm extremely disappointed by Frontier and the lack of direction they decided to take pertaining to VR. Elite could have been great instead its just ok.
