FD Customer support seems to have gone backwards since 1.0.
I remember getting things resolved the day of, not many days later, or even have to get the issue voted on to get looked at either lmfao!!!
Yep that's what's happening to me also, get out and the screen stays black so I have to use the task manager to get out of the game.... and relog if my pi**ed off limit hasn't been reached
Then you're relying on a fallback match-making (TURN) server which exists for people who don't have UPNP enabled (wise) and are also behind a restrictive router.
This game is peer to peer, with instances hosted on player PCs. If you want to use the fallback server to connect, and it's not as reliable, then that's your choice. TURN servers also cause latency issues.

In any case, it sin't like there is a shortage of games to play when the servers go sideways. I'll drift away to another game soon enough anyhow.
Stick to solo then. You'll always have problems playing with other people due to the p2p nature of the game. Or you'll be causing problems for other people.
And I bet you have UPNP enabled in your router...

I've not had a single disconnect while all these issues are getting reported... I have set up port forwarding.
Since you seem to care, no, PnP is not enabled. My network is not hardened, and I'm sure there are other vulnerabilities, but I try not to be the low hanging fruit.
What hostility?
That's the thing, it would affect me; if I tried jumping into an instance you were hosting...
As Sighman pointed out above, without an open port or UPNP: You'll be relying on the TURN servers. Which are a laggy crapfest.
Sounds like you both need port forwarding set up. Use a different port for each PC.
