Elite HUD Manager (HUD Colour Randomiser/Preset Generation)
Hello, fellow Commanders!

I was wandering the Galaxy on my way to Sagittarius A* when I came across a gorgeous white giant. Enthralled by it's luminescence I was struck by a flash of inspiration.

Introducing to you... The Elite HUD Manager! The purpose of this was to basically generate a different HUD config every time, with the added ability of saving ones you like or making a list of your own to cycle through/keep for when you want to go back to using it.

That's great and all, but what does it do?

Multiple things.

- HUD Generator: Creates a new Colour Matrix and deploys it as an Elite Dangerous HUD Configuration. A preview of the HUD is displayed on the Right-Hand side of the Application. Within the Generator, you can specify the Maximum and Minimum ranges for each Matrix and Colour. The "Randomise Ranges" button will apply a random set of ranges to the application, although having a Minimum of 0 and a Maximum of 1 works well, too. For Steam users, it is important to check the "I am using Steam" button when using Silent Mode, as without it, Elite Dangerous will launch without the Steam Overlay.
- HUD Preset Manager: Allows players to save their own (and generated) HUD configurations in .xml files, and store them in Elite Dangerous' Directory for future use.
- Silent Running: By creating a Shortcut to EliteHUDManager and adding "-s" to the Shortcut's Target Field (In properties, shown below), The shortcut will silently generate a new HUD or apply one of your presets before Launching Elite Dangerous autonomously.

Installation/Uninstallation:

Steam and Non-Steam Players:
- To install this application, all you have to do is drop it into Elite Dangerous' Installation Directory (For Steam users, this is usually C:/Program Files (x86)/Steam/steamapps/common/Elite Dangerous).
- Open EliteHUDManager.exe. Steam Players will need to check "I am using Steam" to ensure that the Steam Overlay loads.

Making a Shortcut:
Outside of Steam:
- Right-Click the Application and "Create shortcut". Put it on your Desktop or wherever you place your games.
- Right click the Shortcut and select "Properties". in the Target field, append an -s to the end of it. This will make the application silent, and load straight into Elite Dangerous's Log-in Window.

Inside Steam:
- In the Top Left corner of the Main Steam Window, go to Games > Add a Non-Steam Game to my Library.
- Click the Browse button, then Navigate to Elite Dangerous' Installation Directory (usually C:/Program Files (x86)/Steam/steamapps/common/Elite Dangerous)
- Select EliteHUDRandomiser.exe, then Add Program.
- Right Click the EliteHUDRandomiser.exe entry in your Steam Library and select "Properties".
- Press "Set Launch Options". Add "-s" to the text box, then press OK.

When making a Shortcut for Silent Running, you will need to open the Base Application (Found by Right Clicking the Shortcut > Open File Location) if you want to adjust any settings.

Uninstallation:
- Navigate to the Elite Dangerous Application folder
- Delete EliteHUDManager.exe, the EHMPresets folder and EliteHUDManagerconfig.txt.
- Delete any Shortcuts you made. There, Uninstalled!
