Power Play: how to do the preparing?

How exactly to do this mission:
"bring consignments of Hudson's Restricted Intel from targeted systems"

Here is what I have done:
- joined that guy
- came to a system that was on top 10 systems to Prepare
- bought a cargo rack :)
- pressed the Power contact button
- took 2 things from there

Where do I take the stuff? The game says nothing at all.

Where do I take the stuff? The game says nothing at all.

What I've done for similar missions for other factions is take it back to a factions base system. Then go to contacts and under the power contacts there was a option to hand in the goods.

If you can, always try to haul maximum number of units your rank allows. Each time you take a load you can't take any more for 30 minutes unless you pay 100,000c.

At rank 1, the maximum units you can obtain should be 10 units.

Thanks - will give that a try and take 2 of the units (my max cargo space, since the vessel is a combat one) and take it to Hudson's capital, Nanomam.

ah so to drop them off, i need to see a hand in goods option?

i got sick of carrying them so dumped them because it was not clear where to take them.

There's a power contact in the contacts menu in starport services.

Yes but the ones I went to never had a drop off option, just a collect more

Okay, I did some last minute refitting of my ship, allowing me to take all 10 items.

I took them to the HQ.

I got 10 merits.

Thanks for clearing that out for me!

I also figured out you can fight for your power and rank up by redeeming combat vouchers at the HQ. Too bad there's no expansions yet meaning no combat - just deliveries.

Go to a starport, in starport services go to contacts, power contact, pick up any of their missions.

are they available at most stations? srry @ work cant check otherwise i would be checking all docks

I was just playing with these intel missions, you can drop the intel off at any controlled system (currently i am hauling intel for Mr Hudson to Wolf 867) if you look at the galaxy map and hover over a star it will tell you whether nothing is happening or if it is being exploited or if it is controlled by your faction leader.

In the way I try, I press 1 and went to Galactic Power's panel >Choose right panel>and in control panel you will find a list of star which want you to delivery item from Mother planet.

And...it's just a try, not finished yet.

Yeah, you can do combat to earn merits. I think the combat is actually brings more merits than the hauling does too.

Edit: I can't remember exactly how to do the combat, I didnt do much PP myself. I think you had to go to a system being contested and look for something like the conflict zone, maybe they were called warzones.
