Is there a way to get the X,Y,Z coordinates of your current position in space?

ROUGHLY using the galactic map each system has an XYZ coordinate, the player does not.

you can look at the galaxy map with the grid turned on and it shows your current position in that grid when you're fully zoomed in. i.e I'm currently at -1000:-30, 9100.

Of the players current position (as in, the precise galactic position of your ship)? no, I don't think so. you can get a system's position through the link harbinger mentioned.
