Runing on Surface Pro 2 128GB?
Hi all,

I'm very interested in this game. I know My specs don't fits into a gaming computer, but there are some games I can run smooth and I hope I can run it. I don't care about graphics, is fine for me to play at low, but I would like to do almost all things. I readed about is playable, but runing on 16FPS, but setup was not shared, and was from more than 6 months. Maybe game is now more optimized or something like this.

Some idea?

On Can you run it (1), I pass all steps, included Pixel Shader version and Vertex Shader version, just warning about video memory, but because it doesn't detect my video memory amount. Based on some little searching, SP2 has Intel HD 4400 with 1792MB of video memory allocated

I watched the live feed last night, and they mentioned that ED would run on almost any computer depending on graphics settings.

1792MB video memory should do, as I have a GTX 690 with 2GB memory (or raher it has 4 GB devided between 2 GPUs running in SLI mode), and it's running as smooth as silk with all graphics settings set to max.

You can try the demo of the game to make sure. I think it's available for download, as the game launcher makes you having to select wether to try the demo or the full game.

Oh, Demo? I was looking for it and didn't found it. I will try, thanks.

Yes Fnar, This is the channel I was talking about. It has a more recent video, and comment:
"It's just about playable, and works ok for low-risk stuff like trading and exploration. I wouldn't want to go into combat right now, though, and would avoid multiplayer entirely."

But this is "old", and maybe there are some improvements on performance

A surface Pro 2 comes in 2 models. models with 64 and 128GB of SSD, has 4GB RAM, 256/512 has 8GB RAM. All with a Intel HD 4400 AFAIR. It's an hybrid tablet/laptop. You can use it as tablet, but I use it on home and work connected to external keyboard, mouse, and 24" monitors.

Oh, and I finally bought it lol
