Perhaps I will pick this up in the near future.
Even in open mode the galaxy is rather quiet and unpopulated. There are lots of "populated" systems with resources, space stations...and hardly any real players visiting. Yet.
Humans are easier to avoid than NPC in Open unless you fly in your sleep.
On the other hand, flying with cargo seems to emit some sort of signal only NPCs can detect from supercruise. "I've come a long way for what's in your hold!" etc, like they magically know you have loot.
200 hours and all I have ever done is solo. Its pretty fun and totally doable in my opinion. I dont want humans messing everything up, and like the consistent skill of NPC (there are different skill levels with them though.) I dunno. Just prefer a game this big to be a solo and let me do my own thing.
