GTA 5 or Elite: Dangerous?
im posting this on both forums to form my discision but if you had to pick one what would it be?
I own GTA 5 on console but would like to experience it without aim assist and above 30 fps. I also feel like elite dangerous is more of an investment as most of my friends have told me its an better and more fun experience with a joystick of some kind. should i hold off until i have enough money for a joystick and Elite and just get GTA 5 or tough through the KB+M in Elite?

I've had GTA 5 on PS3, PS4.... I know the PC version adds a lot... but I'm Still on the fence, I already did the story twice... I hope CHeathappens makes a great trainer (offline only, of course) With that trainer I would like Invulnerability even from rocket fire, and other things the in-game cheat doesn't protect damage from... They can't make a Cash cheat since it's tied into the R* network, but I'm sure there will be instant cooldown, no reloads, etc., IF that trainer has those options, I would consider buying this game for a 3rd time, just to get through the story quicker..

I have Elite, it is one heck of a game, has a huge learning curve... so be careful, the safe bet is GTA 5, it's not as difficult to control the characters..

Go for elite and use a cheap 360 controller, that is, if you like player driven sandbox games. not all flight sticks are expensive btw. I've seen Thrustmaster sticks for less than 30€ on Amazon.

Whatever floats your boat bro, keep in mind if you were to grab elite, you'll eventually want a headtracker and joystick. Oh, and in the future there will be more expansions to grab come their release dates. With that said why not grab GTA 5 now, then grab Elite when you're good and ready?

it's supposed to be well optimized this time around, but we'll see, i guess. this being said, why not buy elite now? track ir and voice recognition addons are nice but certainly not required to become good at elite.

Two vastly different games, and thus very hard to compare. GTA V offers plenty to do, mostly in a guided sort of way, whereas Elite is very much an open sim type game which just drops you in a universe and requires that you make your own fun.

Depends on which appeals more to you. I own both, but if I had to pick one I'd go with GTA V. Elite may surpass the production value of GTA V several years down the line, but as-is it can be both frustrating and empty-feeling (in terms of overall content) at the same time. Less a game, more a sim.

Couldn't have said it better myself.

Which is why you have free will to make that decision, allow me to help. Do you want freedom? Yes? Okay. Well hows about freedom in space? Okay...Well it looks like I just sold you two games hopefully.
