What does each Icon mean? Like which ones are stations for example.

green=independant
blue=federation
red=empire

[Alrik]

Klick on the icons, and you will see in the left side of the screen all informations.

In the galaxy map icons show:
positions of ships you also own
planets that are part of your mission
positions of friends

How come some stations deny access whe I have no criminal record?

you are either not in range ~1km
or did not request to dock

Well I am 1km away ask to doc and have a mission for the place yet it wont work?

Or it's a small outpost and all the landing pads are currently full, just wait until someone launches and try again.

A station will never deny access due to criminal record, although the cops patrolling outside may open fire on you.

when you blow up.
there is no 'interest rate' to speak of, so you start with 10k of debt, which increases by 10k if you dont have more funds than you started with when you die. obtain twice the amount you owe in credits and the next time you die, your lons will be paid off, but you'll have to pay 10% of the ship you destroyed (0 credits if the free sidewinder) which can cost a lot when there are multimillion credit ships out there.
