i'm betting i could get it to run on my old phenom II x2 545, but it would probably not look amazing. might get some serious slow downs aswell. i mean i can keep a consistent fps of about 25-30 with most if not everything on high, so if you have a dx11 gpu and 4gb of ram or over you should be alright, probably would help to know the actual spec so ppl can say definitively if it will work or not.
for example i know my old dual might run it because it plays arma 3 just fine on low-medium so with that comparison i'm betting it'll run elite but the performance will vary, in conflict zones where there might be 20 or so AI's flying around i'd expect some slow downs.
Runs ok, capping the FPS helps (gets really laggy during the transition to/from from jumpspace).
Mind you, the game probably sees this dual-core CPU as quad-core due to Intel's Hyper-Threading.
I played it on an old Dell XPS M1730 with a Core 2 Duo T8300 and 8700m GT. It didn't look pretty, but it was playable. Any better/newer dual-core processors can probably handle it okay, but don't expect it to be flawless.
As INSTG8R indicated, only the i7 has Hyperthreading, and even then it needs specific code in the application to use it. Not many do either, only program I use that has hyperthreading is Photoshop.
