Frontier Unlocked tomorrow! 6pm GMT IIRC. New details about Colonization and if not delayed, the feature will be launched if i'm not mistaken.
"Devs awesome", not to sure on that. Dropped the game like a bad smell, realised it was their premium game and came back supporting it, but in that quite long window of minimal support, dropping of console and the cash grab Odyssey release. They lost a lot of players, a few have returned but nothing like its hey days.
Dev to be awesome have to once again prove themselves and give it time. As they say "Once bitten, twice shy"
Overall, yes Elite is the premium space game, since the "Other other" space game wont be completed for another 100 years or so. But time will tell if it can get back to its fine wine hey day, which my friends and I miss a lot.
look hater if you dont understand game development then go back to that other game, there is nothing wrong with elite so get gud or get lost.
I cant understand how they are not placing an active spire and a titan near celaneo where the goids are around anyway.
I disagree. There was a 2 year gap in Horizons content while they worked on Odyssey.
Then new Odyssey content (e.g. the thargoid war) was put on hold while they tried to get a console version working, and also put out 15 major updates in a row to address the performance issues everyone was complaining about.
Since the start of the war, there has been a load of content.
Don't forget, Frontier is not EA, Microsoft, Ubisoft, CIG. They're a much smaller company and have a miniscule budget in comparison, and you're never going to get a flood of new content week in, week out.
On the other hand they're passionate about the game, which you can pick up just by watching CMs, devs, artists, sound people, story people talking about it on livestreams.
Hopefully the ship early access sales will improve the cash flow, turn the game into their premier title, and the success will lead to the flood of new content we'd all love to see.
