Ships Interiors

Love the new ships, now please just let us take a walk in them! Great work Frontier, love the game, but damn would i love to be able to walk to my pilot seat after docking my SRV! This is truly one of my all time favorite games so i don't want to sound like I'm complaining, but that would be such an immersive and amazing feature.

almost once a week for well, every month ever... no one bothers to look up or at the ol.d threads, they all go the same way..... you really enjoy walking through the hangar to get into the station? no, its fun once,,, you actually hang out in your carriers office? no, of course not, nothing to do after the first time youve seen it.

We had one guy who'd change his name and come back every week, to post the same thread... And when I say "same thread", he was literally copying and pasting his old thread, just under a different name. Typos included. Trying to make it look like there was more interest than there really was. He carried on for a few months.

Eventually I started taking the mick out of him, because he'd not thought to clear his post history. Kind of wish I'd not called him out on it, it's harder to tell now lol.

Moot point anyway. Devs have said they have no plans to do it. Might change in the future, but for now assume it won't.

Get yourself a carrier. Fleet carriers have interiors to an extent. I like having it, I'm way out in the black right now, exploring, and my carrier is really nice to have! Its like a home out here... I can sell data , chill, mod ships, shop, ...

I REALLY like how in Elite, when you're very far away from the bubble, you don't see anybody else! Exactly as you'd expect out in deep space... When I tried Starfield , there were ships everywhere! No matter where I went, a ship would show up, or I'd see some man made buildings. It was terribly immersion breaking!

I've wanted ship interiors since 2015 but I don't think its going to happen, its too big of a job for FDEV to do, dont think they have the resources or ability.

There are bathrooms and showers in HAB buildings at settlements.

But yeah, I'll skip the ultra-annoying realism of Star Sims 4. I prefer to stick with fun gameplay.
