Limpet problem (??)
For the past 2 days, I've been having strange limpet problems. I shoot a prospector limpet at the asteroid, 300 or less away (been doing it this way for months). It will miss the asteroid, causing me to need to fire 2-3.

I release my 4 controller limpits, start mining Ttituim, and the controller limpets just circle around the ship. I have confirmed that Tritium is ineed being extracted out of the asteroid, however, the limpts just circle the ship. I have relogged, same behavior

I have read (while back) that if you target a fragment that the limpit will not be able to be used for anything else. So, I am not targetting the fragments.

Lateral movement can make your limpet miss. Go straight for the asteroid without lateral/vertical movement, and it won't miss.

Idle collector limpets willl circle your ship. This used to be different, but as far as i know this is now their normal behaviour.
Thx for the tip. I do aim slightly high, I know the limpit is being shot lower so I am aiming for the center.

As for the collectors, I understand that they circle the ship, however, I had a LOT of fragments floating around, which was being ignored
Check your left hand panel, contacts, 3rd tab. Make sure they're not on your ignore list.

Sounds like all the bins in your refinery are full. Could be full of leftovers from other rings (e.g. you were getting ice ring materials before, now you're collecting from metallic rings.)

First thing I did :) Tritium is still able to be collected.

I do have a lot of leftover material, however, I am not getting the refinery full message, and I went to the refinery as well, nothing was waiting to be processed.

The limpits just would not pick up the material.
