Pre engineered FSD's
Anyone an expert on pre engineered FSD's?

I just got one and it seems I can no longer boost in super cruise is that normal?
I also added a mass management experimental feature on it and that also has some kind of quirk.. it costs materials for like 14 jumps or something
Anyone can explain all that crap cause frankly i'm not impressed, I went back and stored the damn drive in the store and put back my engineered one I had before on it

Pretty pissed about the work I had to do to to get something that's gathering space dust in the store.

the pre-engineered fsd is definitely supposed to be capable of supercruise overcharge, the drive you just took to the engineer definitely has the two engineerings applied, right? If I had this issue I can bet it would be because I got confused in a menu somewhere and it wasn't the right drive installed

The old one (V1 FSD) is non-SCO.
At the human tech broker there is a pre engineered 5A fsd without SCO. That is probably what you purchased. You want to get a fsd with sco to boost in supercruise.
Regarding the materials to jump; you can use engineering materials to temporarily increase your jump range. It is not necessary most of the time.
You got the wrong pre-eng FSD.

I'll check, I was sure but you made me doubt loll

There is no words..... proof that you shouldn't buy anything after midnight when you've been working on it for 3 hours... YES... I bought a NON SCO drive sigh!

Back to square 1
