Class 7 thrusters huh?

Also a lot of optionals.

Getting the impression that it's supposed to "replace" the Clipper.

I'm curious to see how it steers. I've never been into jousting ships.
So that's not the God Phoenix at all, no siree.

The design is raptor-esque, with sleek lines and a predatory appearance. Beautiful ship I can't wait to pilot her. :steamhappy:

they said the handling is based on the clipper, but i'm not au fait with the clipper to know how that'll play out

for people who don't like the beak, there's a ship kit that cuts it back and blunts it

The clipper even A graded flies like a whale, you have to engineer the sh** out of it to be decent. Hoping this one will be more agile

Looks very cool, love the nose, this will be my powerplay ship I think.

Python is most likely much cheaper and is perfect for mining.
Fairly sure that is not the intended use for the corsair.
Maybe viable for Thargoid combat?

multi-role. intended to be a general use ship. use it for what you want. sounds to good to be true, so i'm waiting for the other shoe to drop. my gut is telling me it will have downsides that won't be clear till people are using it. ie, bad handling, slow FSD spool up, etc... somethings wrong with it, has to be.

or every other ship manufacturer just went out of business.

maybe this will be the proverbial "shot across the bow" that will force the others to produce new ships to keep from being obsoleted. so either something is horribly wrong with the ship that we aren't seeing yet... or expect to see a lot more new ships that will obsolete the old ships, across the board.

Am I correct in thinking it doesn't have a Ship launched fighter? Maybe that is the difference between this and the other multi role ships like the krait etc.

No doubt it is a text book example of an OP ship. Devs even said "very little drift / on rails".

It will still cost a lot more than a python mk1 and for a new CDMR that matters.

And as pointed out above it does not have an SLF bay, so there is that.

Still wouldn't use a corsair for mining as the python is perfect for it.
