System claim unsuccessful

I keep getting this error on a system I intend to claim. It shows as available, shows as green, and no current architect or claim.

might be a bug. I released my claim and after relog colonization manager still tells me that I own the claim, refusing to hand me another colonisation bill. but colonisation ship departed from original syste, so I can't return to old system, nor claim a new one.

The exact same for me!
I cancelled a claim because I found a more interesting system. At first it unclaimed just fine, but I got the unsuccessful claim message, so I relogged. When I did the original claim was back and I couldn't unclaim that for some time, even though the ship was gone. Though that is now clear but I am unable to claim

well I opened a ticket to FD support ~4 hours ago and went to paly MH wilds. after said 4 hours logged back in and sutiation resolved by itself (probably)

I opened a ticket a few hours into it and I already got a response. They said they're aware of the issue and are looking into it.

I opened a ticket a few hours into it and I already got a response. They said they're aware of the issue and are looking into it.

They said they're looking into it and they've made a post on the official forums that they are aware of some systems being unclaimable.

The fix is most likely going to require a patch and I wouldn't hold my breath, as I don't think they'll patch anything over the weekend.

They don't usually push patches for games over the weekends, so I'm guessing maybe Wednesday they'll push a patch before the server maintenance on Thursday.

The system you can't claim, have you scanned all your planets?
Do any of the planets say "Human Signal"?

It shows up as green in when going through the System Colonization service. It has no Architect or claim. And its uninhabited.

I know, neither does the one I am waiting for. It is green and I can go through the steps of setting up the station, but when I purchase it, I get that message that it cannot be claimed.

However, I do have a planet with a human signal on it, but no settlement and perhaps these are the things preventing us from claiming the planet.

I believe the system I had a claim on previous had crash site signals, though not sure if those were there before or after I made the claim. That said, that system has been claimed while I have been waiting
