However, why not start off with an outpost, and once that is done, then you can take your time colonizing.
If not, can you colonize another system if you already did once and go bigger this time?
You need 2-3 points to start a large station after that. You can get 2 more by building 2 small facilities of any kind.
The system I'm in allows for 31 space-based facilities so I can be busy here for the next 5 years, approximately.
The grind is real.
