On Foot VR?
Yea is there NO vr for being on foot on planets? I get VR in main menu but when im not in my ship on foot on planet i get a theater like view through my headset.

no vr on foot :-( you can use external camera, but you have no HUD then.

a feature in the game. I guess its purpose is for making nice screenshots and videos. You can switch to external camera when in ship or on foot. It has a number of different views you can switch through. When on foot for example you can switch to external camera view over the shoulder. Its a bit like 3rd person view. VR works when external camera is enabled and you have stereo vision, not that flat theatre screen. You can control your character normally when in external camera mode, however you have no UI. So doing any activities with it, like aiming and shooting will not work well, you don't know what youre aiming at. But I use it sometimes on foot when simply walking on planet enjoying the view.

Perhaps you must bind the buttons for it in controls options.
