Keeping Cargo in storage
Hello ED, could you please allow us to store cargo off our ships, I am tried of carrying everything I find on the ground in my ship maybe a storage service for a fee? they keep your cargo safe, and on hold until you get it out like a Storage service in real life.

anything you find on the ground that goes into cargo, just sell. Almost nothing for engineering( what youve been trying to do) is stored as cargo. its just randomly " magically" with you at all times.

The commodities ( cargo ) is what youre supposed to be selling for money. That said, salvaging them from wreck sites as youre doing it is gonna be a LONG grind making cash.

You can store cargo, but you need a fleet carrier. For that you need 5 billion.

you learned of the material trader, I suggest seeking out how to gather and source grade 5 engineering materials, and then trading down at the material trader. It only takes a little bit of grade materials to fill the grades 1-4. then you go engineer/upgrade at will
What are you carrying that isn't to be sold? Limpits? They're cheap enough to offload or destroy when not needed. I guess maybe guardian relics for puzzles, but anything else is either sold or used to get engineers to work for you, but not needed for actual engineering.

Are you a hoarder or something? I can't imagine any cargo that would need storing. You have ample storage for modules, and engineering mats don't take up cargo space.

In space, thall shalt not hoard !!

Let the man hoard if he wants to. People do even crazier ♥♥♥♥ in space, such as mining.
My solution: you have the right to "rent" cargo space from a station that you designate as your "home!" station.

You must travel to this station to make deposits.

If you want to use it anywhere else, you pay for transport (same as ship modules), with the same time delay for delivery.

lol yes I and holding on to them because I think they have use lol
just because you think they have use doesnt mean they do... sell them or just be stuck with them. save 1-2 random items, or a guardian something, nothing youre hoarding is gonna help you.

You can use your Feet Carrier to storage commodities as for materials for Engineering you can put them on a ignore list

Sounds like a new A&E show is needed "Space Hoarders".

Have friends, family, and a psychiatrist confront you at your home station, and then a cleaning crew goes on board and gathers up all your crap. Then maybe pick through 1 by 1, with you maybe allowed to keep 10 things.

I feel like you've peeked into the hold of my carrier.

What exactly are 'honesty pills' anyway? I scooped 1 ton from a pirate and have been carrying them around for 3 years now.

Is the FC transfer still bugged? I haven't docked on mine since PP2.0 started.

You can easily store cargo on your carrier - that never stopped working

The carrier transfer issue is with on-foot materials only, and it happens if you have a mix of stolen and clean goods of the same type in your inventory, and try to transfer that specific item.
