Federal Rank grinding

What is the current best Fed Rank grind? Ive been trying to find Massacre missions but cant seem to find any. I know it used to be the Robigo grind, but not anymore? Anybody any idea what is the current best strategy?

From what I see, it's best for rank to complete numerous missions rather than focus on which missions give you the biggest rank boost individually, so things like courier and simple delivery work quickly. If you have millions of credits sitting around, you can also do credit donation at every port (check to make sure the issuing faction is Fed) and shoot up massively. I ground up my last few Empire ranks with an Imperial Courier doing data deliveries and credit donations exclusively, but first I did a 1.2 billion exobiology turn-in.

The best way is to do something you enjoy.

If combat is your thing I suggest moving to Gliese 868, there are six federation factions in the system, four stations and one outpost in the first +- 160ls and load of settlements in the system.

It's basically where I stack pirate massacre mission and assassination missions.

@CoffeeBean is correct. Do what you enjoy. I ground my way to the Corvette, and promptly never used (lol), through massacre/assassinations.

Back then i did some data delivery loops at ceos/sothis ; it wasn't exactly fun. At least as fun as Robigo runs, anyway. Maybe it still works.

Recently a good way I did (but not available anymore or maybe there are or soon to bring back people ? ) passenger rescue missions from Sol to rescue ships, of course it needed a fast ship, but with a full cabins Cutter I was doing 10-15% per trip in 1 or 2 jumps depending the rescue ship, and sometimes 1 thargoid hyperdiction.
Those missions were heavily rewarding, at least some of them with rewards going to 500k to 50M credits, grade 1 to 5 components

Yeah I did that one and earned 2 rank levels, but not available anymore :(

He stopped making elite videos and said the tools only stay up as long as relevant.
(as factions move around, there will be fluctuations in any guide)


Edit: having experienced burnout from grinding back in 2016, my solemn advice is play the game and do what you find most interesting. Becoming disillusioned is not worth it.

I only still play elite because i treat it like a hobby and play with friends to have fun.

Oh top. I need that one too! I was doing the Gliese 868 grind and that worked alright. Currently out in the black, earning some dough after having done some rank grinding I am close to Fed Corvette. Afterwards its Imp time :D
