Bonnet de douche, Welshy!
Have you created a loadout that uses the Artemis? It's not equipped automatically when you buy one.
Check panel 3 (or look down when in the cockpit) to see which suit you've got equipped.

They have the suit but don't realize it comes equipped with a scanner.
The Scarab should have also been equipped with such a scanner, allowing you to blast a sonar every now and then and mark these vegetables in a greater radius as you drive around the surface. Would have made hunting bacteria in the dark less of a chore.

I think they should just make an SRV specifically for exobiology. By which I mean, it comes equipped with a bio sampler like the Artemis suit. Just make it more expensive than the suit and give it some other drawback to keep the Artemis a viable choice.

They added the Scorpion, which is the combat-model SRV. I think they should make the Scarab the multi-role SRV and add two more.

An exploration model as I mentioned, and a cargo-hauler that gives players some way to transfer cargo to/from bigger ships to Odyssey settlements perhaps? Though I guess they'd have to add an SRV pad to the settlements, or else allow them to use the landing pad to offload cargo. They could play a role in colonization too, potentially.

Aw crap. That is a lovely suggestion but at the same time, it means i will need to fit the large hangar and carry two SRVs.

But again, i love rhe idea of an exo-bio SRV.
Sell it for ARX for a while Fdev. I'm buying one.
Give me an open top speeder, where I can still use my personal weapons/tools...
Another idea I had was being able to deploy a drone from an SRV, which can navigate the terrain that are tough to drive/land on.

It would come with a built in scanner and you could just fly it around. No weapons though, just a scanner.
