Warning: Hyperspace is no longer safe
I just got interdicted out of hyperspace between systems by a Thargoid ship. All my systems shut down and I was left marooned. The Thargoid ship then scanned me and for some reason decided to leave me alone. After if left my systems came back on line.

first encounter with a Thargoid can be rather terrifying. the Hyperdiction really throws you off then all of a sudden youre in space with some crazy noises( sounds in ED are just amazing)

its always been that way when flying in thargoid space. if you had guardian stuff on you, you would have been attacked.
Thargoids still control the California, Witchhead Nebulae, and Barnard's Loop.
Its nice that people can still discover this experience themselves :steamhappy:

Be careful whilst exploring - you might just find something entirely new....
Yeah... Hyperspace hasn't been safe since about 2017.

Considering we just kicked them out of our core systems, you're lucky they weren't in a hostile mood...

You'll find them out near the Coal Sack, Pleiades, and California nebulas... Probably others too.

I remember my first, and so far only, experience getting interdicted by a Thargoid. Was hauling I THINK void opals, or maybe LTDs, to another system to sell.

Took me a second to realize what was happening, then just turned and started booking it as fast as I could away from the damned thing until I was able to get back into supercruise.

Needless to say, I didn't leave station again for a few hours after that.

I haven't experienced it yet in ED, but it's amazing to read these posts and think about a gimmick i had experienced first time way back in 1990 and forever ago, playing the 16 bit Elite on an Atari ST.

Hyperdictions were almost always "oh no" moments.
Seems they still are.

Chasing the Constrictor was pretty epic for 512 kB of RAM as well.

Always fun to get pulled out of hyperspace by a squad of murder-flowers. Would be nice if a Titan type ship could pull us out of hyperspace then groups could 'battle' the beast.
if it left you alone what's not safe?

Our underwear?
I've had a few green tints when travelling
Luckily still no interdictions

I don't think I was in any of those places, but I can't be sure

I didn't get the option, by the time I had control of my ship back it had left.

I just got pulled out of hyperspace by a pair of scouts. Fun encounter. Had spare underwear and lots of trees for the mirrors so no harm done.

Travelling through Pleiades sector, but very near the Taurus Dark region and the bubble itself.
If you want trouble, they're there.
