Regular FSDs have a maximum speed of 2001C, regardless of what grade they are.
SCO FSDs can go much faster.
FSD grades affect things like jump distance, power consumption, etc.
And try out the new SCO default enabled ships or or get one fitted to your regular ships. Lots of fun and really speeds things up. Just watch your fuel consumption and heat.
Yeah I've been using SCO FSDs for a while and I have the set of magic pre-engineered ones from the CG as well.
I'm s*** at doing planetary landings so was going to practise landing at Farseer in the stock Sidewinder, but I wasn't sure whether a 2E FSD was going to take an eternity to get out to Deciat 6.
If you want to practice landing at Farseer, do it in PG or solo, unless you're wanting the challenge of avoiding being ganked.
