Login Failed Login Lost (SOLVED)
i've been unable to login to the game for a week now after i installed it again. Login Failed and Login Lost messages keep appearing. i've tried unlinking en re-linking guides. Uninstalled and Reinstalled numerous times.

The solution for this is explained below, and the reason why this is happening. Take note that the current reaction time can be anywhere from 2 to 7 days. Please be patient.

Most important thing is to use original email. Holidays end tomorrow for the most part.

I'm using the only Frontier account email that i have, the same one that shows my ARX balance, name shows up in launcher as well.

when i try using Epic Games the game runs and i can get to main menu in-game( same ARX balance and name, so the link is working there) but on that platform is only own legacy Elite Dangerous.

The problem is only when trying to launch from steam.
Christmas/New year...

They probably won't even be looking at tickets until tomorrow, and there's going to be a back log. So it will probably take a few more days yet.

So this has been resolved, and for anyone coming across this problem, the following is the issue, followed by what can be done to solve it.

Planewalker was on the right track indeed, but it needs some elaboration. "Most important thing is to use original email" This means that the game was most likely redeemed a while ago using a different frontier emailaddress, which was also the case in my situation.

When encountering Login Failed, Login Lost error messages, and the expansions are not showing up in the Frontier launcher, This is due to a mismatch between the Originally used email when redeeming/creating the account with frontier. If you have changed your email somewhere in the past to another email, there will still be a mismatch that the Developer needs to sort out for you.

If you get the error messages as above, and you dont have access to older email addresses you might have used, only Frontier can sort this out for you.

Be patient though, as i wasn't: The current state of their support needs approx 4-6 days to get a reply, so be patient, they will eventually come to it, as this has been my experience.

Since many old players are coming back to the game, some of you might stumble upon the same problem i had, for which the solution is as described above.

My problem has been solved with help of Frontier.
