Maybe they messed around with the hotspot algorithm. Go check other rings. Happened before. Probably will happen again. Maybe they've even done it on purpose, keep changing where the doubles/triples are to make miners move around.

I don't know what overlap is but is this common that the devs delete planets from time to time? Balance is one thing but what's the point of exploring if all things we find is antiseptically the same as every other thing we find in the game?

this is the second thread on this subject OP has posted.
the other thread he said it was another system plus this system that had the planets and hotspots removed and then said the screenshot posted to show it has not happened was fake. and then deleted his comment saying the system name and edited other comments to change his story so he could say the screenshot was from the wrong system.

here is a screenshot of this system taken just 5 mins ago to show the planet and double hotspot has not been removed.

Only thing I noticed in Ody is that sometimes the hotspot are not shown on the ring. You can target them and see them in the list of PoIs, but their coloring is not shown on the ring.
