Fuel Scoop Not working! [SOLVED]

I've been exploring an dit is currently at 96% but it isn't scooping. I think this is a bug but I'm not sure! I know I can scoop the stars I'm at too.

Yes. I think it was a bug, I logged out and logged back in and it works fine now.

Note that not all stars are scoopable! You can only scoop from stars of the classes A, B, F, G, K, M, O ('KGB-FOAM' to remember it).

It makes sense actually. You can only scoop from stars that have hydrogen in them (or in their corona). You ship uses hydrogen as fuel.

Red/brown dwarfes have burned all their hydrogen.

For christ sake. Why do people refuse to believe their 'perfect game' might have a bug. I said I restarted the game and it worked. I am not an idiot I've been fuel scooping since I left Sol (over 1000 ly away) so clealry it's on or I wouldn't have been able to make it

I guess I got carried away. I'm just tired of people asking me stupid questions like "can you scoop the star?" despite me specificly saying that it was a star I could scoop. I put more than 100 hundred hours into this game on and off steam/

I think there is plenty of information, I don't even know why I would turn a fuel scoop off. I said I could scoop the star, it seems like it's in working order and it's clearly turned on. So I guess that makes it a bug huh? Should I have to restart my game just to get a working scoop? Is that a mechaninc I was not aware of?

Why it would be off: Jumping only a station away and not wanting to have it affect fuel consumption for the 150k distance. OR you just upgraded the ship and didn't pay attention to power draw and while in Super Cruise, you lack the power to actually use the fuel scoop.

Remember that when you call into tech support and say something isn't working and don't go into detail how they ask if it's plugged in? That's due to not including all possible information at the start. The problem could always be that minor detail you didn't think to check. But no, it could never be a minor detail you overlooked. And with your profile set to private, you also deny more information since no-one is able to tell how much time you actually put into the game. So when trouble shooting in the future, provide as much information as possible to get the actual fix as quick as possible.

Ok, well it's a DiamondBack, had it for about a week, so I know how much power I need, and I don't see why you need to check my profile to know how much time I spent. Does it matter? Even as a noob I never made a mistake like that out of blind luck maybe or maybe I just know how to compare numbers like available power and what I'm going to be using. You want to see how much in-game time I have then fine, I'll remove it from private. Maybe the only way to convince you is to see how much time I have.
