It isn't actually readable data, it's considered a commodity. You can sell/buy it thats it

So there is no reason what so ever to buy it then right?

this model would only work with offline game where everything is randomly generated, right now you just use a web site with trade infos uploaded by players and no need to ever buy any info in game.

The only reason to buy them would be to sell them at a higher price at a different station

That is bullocks. You mean something completely different. What you mean is the 'Trade Data' Containerns floating around in space sometimes. Which isn't what OP means. And you can't buy those.
You can buy trade data of neighboring systems and see what they trade in the galaxy map.

For trade routes can be filtered in the galaxy map, which is the only thing you can do with the trade data. So you can see what they trade and with what other systems they trade it. It doesn't tell you prices, though, which makes is more than useless.

When ur in a Station and u Bought Trade Data of other Systems.. u can see if these systems export/import these goods.. so when i got anything and want to sell it i buy trading data of some systems at my location and than check if any of these systems import the things i got..
