Question about the Mandalay

Is the Mandalay going to be a ark store ship only or will we be able to get in game with credits?

It actually just showed up as purchasable for me in-game. About 46 mil, if I remember correctly.

Not showing up as available or unavailable at stations in-game for me, and I haven't purchased it with ARX.

Keep in mind, if you purchased the ship with ARX, then it's going to show available to buy for credits for you.

It probably won't show up for credits until at least end of this month from what I've been seeing/reading, if not next month or after. Just need to keep an eye on updates for the game.

For me it shows up as 17 Mil. O.o

I highly doubt they'll do that. Pretty sure it will release for everyone else when the big update is launched.

Everyone in Odyssey, that is. The arx early access ships will always be arx ships in Horizons.

I´ve bought it with arx. Never seen this in game. Never knew about it. Not as i only had my Frontier Acc nor now with Steam. Whatever. As long as u dont get into a fight its the ship for exploring. For me it was worth it. I would not call ita pay to win because this is not a pvp ship. Not at all. Don´t u even try. But travelling and scooping fuel its the best. But yap... i dont think this ship is in the Game without payment.

The mandalay is a pretty effective PVE ship. I use it for about 95% of my powerplay tasks, and unless I run into 3 deadly condas, I'll come out on top in combat.

Ok. I guess with some new Pods and weapons. Its handling and speed is awesome. I bought the explorer version an i got killed by Pirates more than with other Ships. But they seem to have buffed Pirates anyway. I use it for grinding fed ranks right now and long distance travelling. Its fast and with the Pre-tuned buyable version it has jump ranges that are insane. I´m not into powerplay for now. I´m not a fighter. I´m more Trader/Explorer.

I guess it will become available for credits with the new update at the end of the month.

I'm wondering if they will release the Cobra Mk5 at the same time.... but i guess they will make us wait another month or so for that.

It might be available for Credits if you already bought it? The possibility to always get it back if you got killed is pretty nice. Not even my Contracts got lost after beeing killed. I just startet from the nearest Station an carried on. Maybe because i carry only Data for ranks but its pretty op. I have my little eye at the Cobra MK5 too. the Cobra class is a pretty good pirate hunter. But i think the buyable Mk5 is tuned as Explorer if i remeber right. nothing we can´t change right.
