Avg has issues with watchdog.exe

A very odd thing after weeks of playing elite without an issue bar my own skill, This morning AVG 2015(Not the free version) decides that watchdog.exe is a threat(Unknown) it says and promptly gives me just one option to destroy the executable.

I see this was an issue back in the launch days, Hopefully just a false positive but I thought I`d put this out there as an fyi.

cheers for the heads up. iv know avg and another i forget the name of right now, suddenly decide some games are suspicious and block them from launching. just remove from vault or ignore and all will be good again.

Funnily enough - I had an avg issue with Rise of Flight on friday.... similar scenario to yours op - after years playing rise without Avg issue. Just lately - I'm not too sure about Avg, I prefer 'Malwarebytes' & I must get around to buying the full version.

I don't recomend running any kind of virus scan or firewall software other than that included with windows on a gaming pc. causes more problems than they resolve. you can always start them back up after gaming or add all of the game executables to the safe lists. although this doesnt always work.
