There is a repair and reboot option just above the self destruct option on the right hand screen.
Next time try doing a reboot/repair in the functions panel (right HUD screen). That will hopefully get you limping back to civilisation.
or you know... reboot and repair...
tried that when my ftl drive borked cause i pulled an icarus. i eventually found a place to repair. but reboot and repair wasn't doing it
Google it if this is still confusing, plenty of guides out there.
lol have to admit i was feeling like han solo for about an hour while i limped along.
:hits the ftl button: "jump frame system malfunction"
:back of her head. hears the falcon ftl drive fail whine:
Punch it Chewie!
But it's good to know about the reboot option. There are a lot of thing about this game you sort of have to figure out by your self.
