Ded, goto www.fuelrats.com if you're stranded with no fuel. If you do have fuel, open up your Galaxy Map on your left panel.

Open the game launcher, click on the "manual" link in the top right and read the game manual. That will help you a lot and should stop you having any more "issues".

Ahhh... thought this was all self explanatory. I mean, it does happen, but not to where we have to make a post, complaining about our mistake...

Check to see you have enough fuel for jumps. If not, go refuel, and invest in a fuel scoop.

You can just wipe your save file, I did after 7 hours play cause I got tons of fines for being a d ic k, and now I know what I am doing it's a lot easier.

First step, don't wipe your save profile.
Go into the Tutorial option in the launcher instead of the main Elite Dangerous option to learn to play.

Second, if you're in a newbie ship, you can enter your modules panel (the one on the far right, with your stats/name etc), go to the last tab, and select 'Self-Destruct' and you'll return to your last station with a siidewinder or your current ship (provided you've got the insurance money or loan money)

why do you need more than one? One character can do anything

You would have to buy another game code for that.

"it's an unacceptable practice to have one save per account"

oh boy. here we go.

one save per account DOES suck but it also keeps it as real as possible. till you wipe your save account
