But to the OP, keep checking high-tech areas.
I do recommend you try out the huge plasma accelerator though. Takes a while to learn and is a little tricky to aim due to its slow projectile speed and being fixed only, but once you learn it it's absolutely devistating against anything less manuverable than a vulture.
Most people don't take the time to learn to use it and just say it's a crap weapon because they don't know how to use it. It's really not, you just have to give it a chance.
I want guns soooo big that when I fire them, my ship warps backwards.
the plasma accelerator is good because it tears through shields and hull equally well.
i believe i heard they plan to add more huge weapons though, before there was only 2 ships that could have a huge hardpoint at all, so it wasnt that important, now theres more reason to add more.
Hey, I can dream. xD
or even one massive missile to blow large ships half way across the galaxy , that would be epic!
Lets be honest, most PC gamers would not relate to a massive missle blasting anyone.... Hundreds of little tiny missles would be more cognitavly associative...
;)
That's called a TORPEDO?
Don't be ridiculous, torpedoes require water !
So torpedus?
