FD don't force people do to that. People do that to themselves.
It depends on how you approach the game. If you think you must be able to afford the most expensive stuff in the game in less than 200 hours, then yes, you probably are going to be disappointed.
If you are playing for the long haul, you find you don't worry about the credits, because you know sooner or later you will get the money anyway, and instead you focus on enjoying the game itself.
But hey, don't worry about it. FD regularly introduce a new exploit every month or two.
We initially had rares runs that could earn insane amounts. Then we had seeking luxuries. etc etc... every month or two a new way for players to earn hundreds of millions with just a few hours work.
Just sit back and chill, and wait for the next one to appear.
Then, once you have a few billion in your account, you won't need any more money ever again and can stop worrying about it altogether. Hell, if that was your only focus anyway, getting the biggest ships, you can even then quit playing. ;)
I still fly a vulture because i refuese to use these methods of cheating my self of the voyage to become a better player so i can quickly buy a nice big ship, only need a few more mill and i can buy my python.
same go's for the rep exploit to rank up i mean come on people the games going to be around for a very long time there is no rush because there is no first prize lol
Please, for the love of all that is unholy, learn to use paragraphs.
From my experience they ask to travel for like 300-500 LY which is quite dangerous in the bubble.
The only things that can make it unbalanced are:
- You can get more missions by switching modes. Thus having more profit in per trip.
- The slaves are not "mission specific" meaning that you can sell the slaves at robigo - travel near your destination - buy the slaves there - go to your destination with limited jumps remaining. Thus reducing your risk.
lol
congratz man!! you meet no one!
Even in FDL and quite lazy hunt Im doing 15 mil for hour in hazRes in Gende. Yes, Im using 5 rating ALD for BH boost. And yes, when Im flying in Corvette there, I`m doing even more..
Its possible.
A very.
That sounds like an unintentional thing..
Did the people exploiting this lose the money they got from it or did FD let them keep it?
Funny, I was thinking that this would have been a viable strategy if there were more slaves per mission =D
I make three to four million an hour harvesting pirates in HAZ RES's in my Fer De Lance
Edit: the 4 million was probably a bit optimistic--I just timed myself for accuracy and it was averaging right at 3 mil an hour if I was on the ball
Or people can get back on topic.
