Settlement/SRV question (Horizons Beta)
So I landed at an outpost and then, while still on the landing pad, deployed the SRV. I had a good drive round then returned to my ship - no ship (it's on scanner but looks like I am driving over it, so maybe it has gone into the hangar).
Checking on my SRV comms menu I can "request docking" for my SRV. This tells me to proceed to pad x, where I find my ship, but no glowing "stairway" thing to park my SRV in. The central SRV panel tells me "Proceed to indicated garage" which I can't find anywhere.
Am I missing something?, because in the end I had to plough my SRV repeatedly into a wall to self destruct. Then the game crashed. LOL.

Sounds like a bug. There was another post someone's ship starting flying LS away while they were in their SRV.

I think the ship automatically retires to orbital cruise once you get a certain distance away from it, at least when landed rough on the surface.

Yeah ship takes off if you go further than 3.5-4 km from it.

Looking down to where the deploy buggy option was you get choices to send it away or recall.

Not used a settlement yet but one option might be to check those and see what it says. Another might be to head a good distance from where you parked and see if you can call it remotely.

if your at a starport on a planet you need to drive into the garage that is under the pad your ship is on.

Yeah drive to the garage under your ship BUT FIRST Request for docking like you normally would

Thanks, I just figured this out but didn't realise each pad had its own garage.
