Anybody playing on "IPv6" ?
Since my Provider forced me to use IPv6 IP (but ED needs IPv4), i get Internet disconnects all the time, even my Modem is resetting....

Is there anybody out there, who using an IPv6 Connection only and is able to play ED ?

(Only chance to get IPv4 is to make another Provider Contract which costs me double more with same speed....)

Some people are, some people though have problems.
There's no easy answer for this right now but you can help the devs tracking down potential problems (if you have them) by sending them some logs.

If the game is literally unplayable for you because of this then you can obviously refund it though.

Please access your AppConfig.xml which can be found in your game directory and open this in Notepad. You'll see a block near the bottom named "Network". Please insert the following lines somewhere in that block -

ReportSentLetters="1"
ReportReceivedLetters="1"
VerboseLogging="1"

This will produce a NetLog for us. If you could, please save your AppConfig file with these lines and then load the game again. After you experience the issue, please close the game. The NetLog should be located in this location: C:\Users\Username\AppData\Local\Frontier_Developments\Products\FORC-FDEV-D-1000\Logs
Please note that the exact path will vary a little depending on where you installed the launcher and which game version you have.

After you have the netlog send it via the ticketing system and quote this thread

Yes, seems i come not around to refund it, even when i get new Internet it will need new Router also...this can take a while.
Sadly i can´t test anymore, otherwise i will be over the 2 hours limit.

You're at 2,6 hours based on your profile so a refund over Steam is probably not going to work anyway. Have you tried to verify your account?!

I have never ever heard of this before...... Omg... *runs off to disable IPv6 in vain hopes it will resolve ED connectivity*
Do you have a router by chance? With a router you should be able to set a fixed IP and probably "converte" the IPv6 from your modem to IPv4 through the router.

Im probably talking a bit out of my ass, but I do know that routers can provide you with a fixed IP so that's atleast one problem fixed.

I have a Cable Modem, where my Providers can choose what to lock.

Even with a Router it wouldn´t work since IPv4 is locked by my Provider, there was a literally low chance to get a IPv4 IP in past months.
But my Provider is out of "Stock", so you only get it now with a special Business Provider Contract. I was phoning with 3 different Support Guys today.
But seems to work atm, playing for 30 Minutes :)
Still not working, i have no crash while i fly through empty space,
but when i come near are crowded System, my Router crashes and doing a Reset.

I hope the get rid of these old System and block all IPv4`s in future Updates.....
