But you could make the suggestion in the elite dangerous forums
but many other ships the community is waiting on to be released eg: panther clipper
Loved the panther clipper and puma clipper in frontier elite 2
my point being, don't fret, your not missing out in any way other than "the grass is always greener" FOMO feels.
Oh I can already afford "better" ships, and am almost at the rank for a Federal Corvette. I just like the look of the Cobra, and would like to have it as my "small landing pad" ship of choice.
And I'd be willing to spend a few Arx to get it.
From what I hear though, we're not missing out on much. As I understand it, the Cobra Mk. IV is to the Cobra Mk. III what the Viper Mk. IV is to the Viper Mk. III... a heavier variant that should be better, but actually isn't. Maybe that's just wishful thinking on my part though, to tell myself I'm not missing out on anything.
Tiger Trader was good too

Letting folks but the Cobra 4 with Arx sounds like a good idea. If there is an issue about exclusivity... maybe give all Horizons owners a unique skin? Or a new flight suit.
Trading agility for armor is a bad choice with turret mounts as gimped as they are, it just means an enemy can get below or above to and stay there while shooting though that extra defense and there's nothing you can do to get them back in your sights for long.
It's...honestly pretty standard for that to happen to ships in game as far as combat abilitly goes. Diamndback, Cobra, Viper, Challanger and Crusader, the Gunship and Dropship.
They just keep doing the heavier armored variants without addressing their fundamental problems and so they just keep being basically flat out inferior to their lighter counterpart for the same job (combat.)
I don't think it will happen.
The deal was it was an exclusive, not to be repeated.
Indeed it was
Funny that in elite 2 the sidewinder is better than the eagle.
There is so many ships in Elite 2 we just do not have in elite dangerous and from what i seen for good reasons
