Cocijo's Fate
What might Cocijo's fate be? Simply reduced to a debris field like the others? Maybe going dormant - leaving an opportunity for players to further explore it in an SRV at some point. Maybe it will be left untouched - because of a slight change in human/thargoid relations.

And considering all of the player time and investment in anti xeno activities it wouldn't make sense to ditch all of these guardian tools. Maybe these will be retooled to deal with another dormant threat.

The Thargoids are looking for something. They are aware of something that humans don't have any clue of. Maybe there is a larger threat. Bloodthirsty Dormant Guardian AI imprinted with the mind of Caleb Wycherley or worse.

Anyways, we will find out soon enough. This is going to be fun. I hope.

I reckon eventually - if we defeat the invasion - it will crash on a planet in Sol. It can sit there inert for a long while, and then we get mysterious rumblings from within when the time is right.

it will come to Earth and do massive, massive damage. We will not be abel to stop it.
than it will go back. The rest of the human species will notice that, prepare, but they will continue with as usual. After all, people do not like each other, power, glory and all that glorious stuff.

The spirits of the 7 dead titans will be absorbed into Cocijo, turning it into a super titan.

Cocijo gonna have some plot armor and won't let us kill it that easily

You've seen the War of the Worlds movies with the Tripods?

It was already weakened before it began its journey. It will arrive in Sol and self-destruct in the Sol system, seeding the planets & moons with a Thargoid flora/biosphere and we exo-biologists will be tasked with on foot missions to retrieve samples and stop the spread of this environmental disaster. Side missions will include conveying casualties, escorts, ax combat etc.

I parked my ship in Sol for the update just in case.

It's going to turn Earth into an ammonia world and Sol will become a new Thargoid system.

Terraforming takes a while. They'd have to keep hold of the system for at least a couple of years, which we wouldn't allow. Freaky aliens, stay away from our rock! OO-RAH!

While I wouldn't mind being selected for Thargoid hybridization programs from our new insectoid overlords..

Crashing the Titan directly into Earth seems like a way to speed up the process, but Earth might be an asteroid belt if that happened.

You're telling me you'd betray your entire species... For the chance at thargussy?

It's not like we can land on Earth in the meantime ...

I had a rather vivid daydream about just this a few days ago. (Quite typical in my life, these hit me the moment I start to relax)

In it the Thargoids deployed some kind of device that very rapidly flooded the Earth with various alien subspaces and at the end... Same planet, same oceans, same landmass, but ammonia colour.

Will this happen? Well, I can only say it was my imagination running away from me as it does. But it was a rather cinematic vision in my head there. Dramatic music too.

Maybe they'll warp their own home world into Sol as a starting point for their invasion

I hope something 'special' happens....seems as it's the last Titan....

I really have no idea what that might be......but......something!

Yes. I'll be watching from the sidelines because frankly, there's no point me getting involved anyway given the Cobra next week will let me do something I wanted to do years ago: Start the game in, well, a Cobra. (Also, I just don't personally involve myself with Thargoid things anyway)

Anyway, yes. It's quite fascinating. There is simply no indication at all if anything different will happen, and that's exciting.
