Next week I'll be able to ditch all my storage ships.
Now all I need is a higher cap than 40 for ship storage on my carrier.
Definitely.
Oh nice I was nearing the limit on my stored modules.
Partner or not, they prey on players´ curiosity in order to boost their channel´s popularity by positioning themselves as the sole provider of information about the new Cobra.
That said, I am not in any way devaluing or disregarding your effort to share more details about the ship.
Interesting bit about the module storage for sure; looking forward to the MK5 too.
The bit about reviewing partner status every 6 months is also in the T&C, but I'm betting nobody read those before stating X and Y.
Yep, hence 'partners' for ED people, and 'influenza' for the rest.
What kind of speed and agility is this thing showing?
676 boost in a mildly lightened (but decent) build. Not paper build.
55+ ly jump (maybe 60+)
Seems nimble, don't know the exact figs yet.
ETA: Pitch 72, Roll 192, Yaw 53 with 4A thrusters G5 dirty drives.
Holy heck the difference in yaw... Exactly what the biggest weakness for the Mk III is.
I expected as much. This thing has rendered both older Cobras moot. If it can mount a size 3 shield, which is an assumption I am making based on the other two Cobras alone so please correct me if you know more, it is also better than a Type-6 as a trader as there's only a 2 tonne difference, and the fact the Mk V is a small (Ody settlement bonus there) and has SCO optimisation, makes it plainly more useful. After all, the fast SC travel trumps a measly 2 tonnes of cargo for profit's sake.
It also completely outclasses the Dolphin for bulk passengers. Frankly the only reason to use a Dolphin now is if, for some reason, you want to do luxury class jobs from outposts. Loaded with economy passengers and again assuming a size 3 shield, the Dolphin can 38 passengers. The Cobra can carry 48.
The agility also puts it above that of both Vipers. Viper Mk III can be faster and more agile but only with a build focused on PETs.
This thing seems to be meeting every prediction I've made on what ships it will just be better than. It's probably a bigger shake-up than the other three SCO vessels combined.
Anyway, time for me to actually get back to my work.
what? That would be better than stripped vulture with 4 pips to ENG!
Perhaps 2x overcharged cytos against shields and 3x concord cannons targeting powerplant would be worth trying.
