Neutron star plotter & co troubles

So, I haven't played in a very long time and need some help regarding 3rd party tools.

I want to go far out (more or less, first trip with new character and only need 5000ly for unlocking engineers, but still) and maybe use the neutron plotter to see if there is a better route than what the in-game map provides.
Of course spansh and edsm don't know the system I selected.

Is there a way to search for known systems close to the one I'm looking for, so I can use that as target?
Like search for a known system near a given set of coordinates or something like that.
(It really doesn't help that similar named systems don't need to be close to each other)

Maybe I just don't know how to use edsm and co anymore, but any input would be appreciated. Thanks
