I would imagine you can use the throttle from CH. I'm using a 10 year old X52 throttle with my Ursa Minor. I think I won the Saitek lottery with this one.
Go into the control settings and mess around it is not hard to figure out. The WinWing will work for sure. I cannot help you with the CH I have never used one.

Why's CH Manager not working? Works just fine here.
Only in calibration mode.
And CH Hangar has closed.
Works great for calibration but does not work when downloading a made profile, the mapping modes are greyed out.
TY but how am I supposed to follow that with the game open?
These games are impossible to setup just to play sigh.
I used to just load in a profile and also print the profile map so I could see everything but I can't using two different branded sticks.
I used the analog thumb axis on the throttle to land.
The main throttle ,how do I set it to go backwards?
I will give it a miss.
Too much fugging around.
X4 Foundations is just as bad setting up controls.
These types of games need a decicated software to setup controls otherwise alot of people never play these games.
It's not 'bad', they're both complicated games with lots of controls. Space invaders just has left, right and fire, but that's because it's all you need.
As for the main throttle and backwards, you want to set full range under throttle.
If you ask, people will help.
Try starting with basic flight controls and go from there. I did.
Changing some definitions these days: Impossible = Requires Effort
It requires a bit of effort to start with for each game - but if you're prepared to invest hundreds of dollars / euros / pounds into your control system of choice, then you should definitely be prepared to invest a couple of hours into setting it up.
After setting up for each game, make sure you get a backup of the settings (wherever that game stores them). Nothing worse than finding an update has reset everything to defaults.
Extra screen or even another device?
Steam overlay?
Alt+tab?
Focus on the basics first: Ship movement and rotation. Get the axis set up, test them (you might need to invert or un-invert some).
Either set a key to switch your throttle to reverse (look for the little "+" icon near the throttle binding). Or use "full range" (centre point is neutral).

Do we need 4 joysticks lol?
My old Control manager profile was awesome .
I could use track ir to look at all the panels then scroll up and down on the panel interfaces.
No clue how to do this.
And I have no clue how I am going to remember 30 functions.
This is ridiculous.
I don't have the memory of the Six Million Dollar Man FFS.
This game needs a joystick with 50 buttons on it.
I don't think they have made one yet.I miss the old ED and my old CH Manager profile sigh,it worked perfectly.
I have installed Joystick Gremlin before but that program is a mess, programs within programs.
CH Manager, when it worked was incredible and intuitive.
And there was a Dummies guide.
I forgot to save all that stuff of course (shakes head).
When CH Products website went down,my playtime with ED ended as well because when ED was updated and the controls became unusable.
P.S. I have already forgotten all the hotas commands already.
P.P.S. Really don't have any time to try to work this crap out.
The controls on these games are silly.
People must use big button boxes with 30 buttons to play this?
Now that I've moved up to VKB, I have all the controls I need.
Look into shift keys, control layers, etc, etc. That is, of course, unless the gear in use doesn't have its own configuration software, in which case what you see is what you get.
