Heatsinks to avoid detection, and ECM to disable thargoid limpets. (practice is a good idea)
While the glaive can knock out your shields, it is still a good idea to have one on the ship.
Oh, and make sure to install an SCO-capable drive so you minimize travel times and thus tharg-dictions.
If you want i can link my rescue ship (Beluga w 4 ECM), just lmk.
cheers
You can bind a keypress for the ECM. If you press and hold a second time, it fires the second ECM. Hopefully if you need a third go, the first will have recharged.
You can mix first class, business and economy cabins. Take VIPs in the first two (they won't share cabins) and bulk evacuees in the latter.
You can also fit a hold and take escape pods as cargo with wounded inside. On the way back you can bring Fruit and veg, Fish, Grain or whatever your cargo missions need (Epsilon Eridani has loads)
You don't need a beluga to carry passengers. Saud Kruger ships (dolphin/orca/beluga) are the only ones which can fit luxury tier cabins, but other ships can fit all the others. I.e. aside from that, the ability to carry passengers is not intrinsic to any particular ship. You just need to fit some passenger cabins on it, and then you can use any ship as a taxi.
xD
-You WILL get hyperdicted by the thargoid. Consider that a granted and work around it.
-You need 500m/s speed to outrun the fastest, 550 to be safe. Likely through boosting. I don't know your funding, but the best is Orca and Cutter. With an engineered thruster (dirty+drag), orca reach 640m/s while boosting, cutter 517m/s. Both also get lots of room for passengers (Orca have more). Clipper can also reach 640 m/s but with less internal slot.
Check on EDSY or Coriolis first otherwise.
-That mean Beluga is poor, at 419m/s max with engineered thruster while boosting, you'll get caught by the fastest thargoid.
-You want 1-2ECM. This is to counter the FSD reboot missile the thargoid launch at you.
-You want some range into the ship. Sol is at 53.98ly. Also consider fuel/scoop, depending on the ship. A non engineered Orca with the guardian FSD booster (class 5) do 2 jumps.
-If you plan on doing group evacuation, economy cabin. If you want the "personal" evacuation, which award more money (you evacuate high wealth people, basically, they pay extra to "skip the line"), you want higher tier cabin.
-You might want a PDC with a view to the cargo hatch, in the event a sneak thargoid launch a cargo hatch limpet at you
There are no way to make it to 1jump with a full Orca, AFAIK. So, you'll aim to do 2 jumps instead. Since the distance is ~54ly, you need to do at least half in one jump (27ly). Non engineered FSD is 5ly short for it^^

Also forgot :
-full pip to engine, rest (2) into shield.
Yeah, Voyager is... Nothing else though... Snoozefest
My typical run has 110 pax and 30 pods outbound to V886, and 128 of fish or some such inbound to Sol.
