Exobiology question
Been following that billionaire boulevard for a bit it's lucrative but when you go outside the bubble, is there a way to know which systems has exo. planets or it's just a random toss of the coin like ok let's try this one... nope nothing there.... this one then and so on..

Had no real luck out there so far, got my first footfall on one but it had only 1 sample

youre going to want to scan the system. Only planets with atmospheres( for the most part) will have bio signs. As for which one, no, you just gotta scan them. Different atmosphere, temps and gravity will "spawn" different bio. Sometimes youll find a planet with 1, ive found a planet with 13. I like to stick to yellow, orange, red stars, but you will find bio signs in/on almost any star type. Hot systems, like blue white stars are where ive found anenome. Planet so hot its all you can do to park next to, scan and get back to ship before being cooked.

if you scan the planets and there is nothing there, at least youre gonna get some exploration credits out of it.

Random - in terms of whether a given system has planets suitable for exo or not.

The mass code can help find systems with more/larger planets.

The only thing is, if you want a bit of a helping hand you can install Elite Observatory Core and the Bioinsights plugin. As you FSS planets it analyses the soil and atmo composition and shows you which exobio are possible there. If you're only interested in high value, you can then narrow things down.

Personally I like to know what might be there, but if there are 2 or more I'll land and scan one or both even if they're only worth 1m (or 5m with the bonus)

Observatory Core, with the bioinsights plugin is great for quickly identifying candidate planets. ED Market Connector also has a plugin that seems pretty good but I have not used it much.

If you have some time to kill, this video does a pretty good job of explaining exobiology, Youtuber seemed pretty good, but they only made a couple of videos, likely due to low viewer count.

I do.... but my patience has limits, after 21 minutes of it I wanted to throw a hammer in my screen lolll. I'm sorry, I just can't stand those videos where peoples think time has stopped and all you have to do is listen to their slow as F*** explanations .
Thanks for the reply though Spam, she must have great stuff to share but I ... jsut can't

I'll check star types see if I have better luck Thanks all ; )
